    Butter
    Brown Sugar
    Confectioner's Sugar
    Cream

  • Ingredients

    Butter, melted 1/4 cup
    Brown Sugar, packed 1/2 cup
    Confectioner's Sugar, sifted 1 cup
    Cream 2 tbsp

  • Steps

    STEP 1: Whisk the melted butter, brown sugar and milk or cream in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.

    STEP 2: Increase to medium and bring the heat up slowly to just below a low boil.

    STEP 3: Remove from heat and whisk in the powdered sugar a little at a time until you reach the desired consistency. Make sure the sugar is completely dissolved. It should be thick enough to not run, but pourable.

    STEP 4: Pour it over cake, cupcakes, brownies, blondies, or other dessert while warm. Let it set and it will firm up.
