  • Prep

    Boil water and add the water and sugar to the metling pot and stir to dissolve the sugar. Then let it set until you are ready to cook it.

    Brown Sugar 250g
    Hot Coffee 50g
    Irish Cream 50g

  • Steps

    STEP 1: Brew hot coffee or add 1 tsp of espresso powder to boiling water in a metling pot.

    STEP 2: Add the brown sugar to the coffee and stir to dissolve the sugar.

    STEP 3: Bring the coffee syrup to a low boil, just starting to bubble, then reduce the heat to keep it at a low simmer.

    STEP 4: Let it thicken just a bit (you don't want it thick, but you don't want it watery either. As it starts to thicken remove from heat and mix in the irish Cream. Keep stirring for about 1 minute.

    STEP 5: Set aside to cool to room temperature. Bottle it for later use.
